| Everyone have a heart attack because Philip J. Adams is writing a blog! Gasp! Okay, so who believes in demons? And who believes demons can manifest themselves in people at times? Is it possible that after the truth is told to somebody, a demon can manifest itself soon afterwards? Earlier this week one of my co workers was going around saying that all prophets were equal, or enlightened people, and I mentioned, well what about Jesus, he claimed to be GOD, was he just enlightened. His reply was “That just shows he was crazy, and not even GOD can defy physics like walk on water.” I could tell he just wanted to argue in front a group of people so I just let it go About 30 minutes after this conversation he starts cussing me out over a petty thing, and when I didn’t react he turned his attention to this African American guy in his late 60’s and starts yelling at his saying “I’m going to Tie you up to a tree and set you on fire like the (explicit) Negro you are, not saying negro, but you get the point. Then he starts throwing boxes and trying to attack the guy. Now this guy has always been a little bit off in the head, but nothing serious. He’s always complaining how leadership at our work place are prejudice and he actually went to the Store Team leader to put in a complaint not too long ago. I just find it a strange coincidence that after I talked to him about my beliefs that he would do something so off from his previous character. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. | | |
| Wow! Almost a year since I've blogged. Where has the time gone? Well I think I'm just gonna have to start blogging again, this is officially my introduction to my reblogging. I doubt anyone ever comes here anymore. I'm not Dead, really I'm not. I think I'll add a new song too. Any ideas anyone? | | |
| Whats up my people! Yes I awake from my slumber and blog after months of hibernation. No explination will be given, I'll just get to the blogging. Lately I've been torn. December...... Christmas time. Ahhhh maddness. But all worth it to celebrate the birth of Yeshuah right? Or is it? I've been looking at the history of Christmas, the traditions we have, and revelation, and I just don't feel comftable celebrating. It's a holiday filled with pagan symbolism and saint worship (Ho ho ho). I mean come on, Yeshuah wasn't even born in December. The bible even says that Gabrial came to Mary in the 6th month. And even though we say that it is to celebrate his birthday, you have a look around and you can clearly see it's just an excuse to party and be glutenous. Now is that what Yeshuah would want? The 25th December was celebrated in ancient days as the birthday of the unconquerable SUN god, (variously know as Tammuz, Mithra, Saturn, Adonis or BAAL) centuries before Yeshuah was born in Bethlehem. In the 4th century, the Church came to the conclusion that they couldn't compeat witht he pagan festivals, so in order to get more converts they declared the 25th of December as the birthday Yeshuah , and kept much of the same rituals the pagan festivals had. Almost every tradition we have in our Christmas today stems from a very unchristian background. I often wonder why we don't celebrate the festivities that G~D's word declares to be Holy Days. Why is it that we try so hard to distance ourselves from Jews? Why do we claim to worship the same G~D, but shun just about everything in thier traditions. Why do we feel that we can ignore the Jewish holidays and make up our own? Yes it is true that a majority rejected Yeshua, but not many people point out that all his diciples were jewish. paul was Jewish. Yeshua was a very devout Jew. Without the Jew, there would be no Christianity. The sacred festivals listed in the Bible (Leviticus chapter 23) are for Jewish as well as Gentile believers in the G~d of Israel. The Passover: The remeberance of how God saved his people in egypt, by passing over them when the firstborn of every household was to be killed. This service also commemorates the death of Yeshuah, the Passover Lamb of God, who gave his life to purchase our salvation. The Feasts of Unleavened Bread which commemorate Israel's hurried departure from Egypt when they lived on unleavened bread. Unleavened Bread also foreshadows the time when the Almighty will totally rid His household - the Church - of the leaven of sin, hypocrisy and false doctrine. Pentecost: This festival commemorates the out-pouring of the Holy Spirit: not just the event that happened on the day of Pentecost in apostolic times (Acts 2), but also when the Most High will pour out His Spirit on His people in these last days, after we have been cleansed of every vestige of sin. Trumpets: This feast still awaits even partial fulfilment. It foreshadows the time when cleansed, Spirit-filled believers will proclaim the final warnings to mankind; warnings which will be preached when the terrifying events described in the book of Revelation are in progress. The Day of Atonement: This day of fasting prefigures a time of judgement and atonement when the church will finally be brought into the very presence of the Almighty and be at-one with Him. The Feast of Tabernacles: This festival commemorates Israel's 40 year stay in the wilderness in temporary dwellings (booths/tents). Tabernacles also commemorates the incarnation, when the Almighty G~d took up residence in the human body of His Son Yeshua! The Last Great Day: This feast prefigures eternity; when through the ages to come the ransomed will live with Yhwh the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His Son Yeshua - our Redeemer! Remeber. Yeshua came to the Jews FIRST and then to the Gentiles, the dogs. So any Jew who has accepted Yeshua as the awaited Messiah has a double blessing! Whoop whoop. | | |

Christianity
What is it about Christianity that makes it different than other religions? I look at most Christians today and I don't see why anyone would want to come to Christ. Myself included. What is different? Christ said he was the only way to heaven. There is no other way. We know we can get to heaven through this promise. Muslims aren't sure if they will get to heaven or not. Only "Allah" can decide that. Buddism, you have to go through many lives and hopefully be enlightened to reach "Nirvana." That could take many life times. Same with Hinduism. In Hinduism the goal is to go through lives and one day become a part of GOD, and you don't even realize it. We have hope, we have faith. C.S. Lewis once said " Jesus had to be either a madman, a liar,or who he said he was." If he was a mad man, why would so many of his diciples die for his name, never denying that he was the risen GOD. If he was a liar, why would he endure all of that pain and suffering for something he knew was a lie?

SIN
SIN. I hate sin. I hate that so many people write sin off as not being something to be concerned about. SIN pisses me off. Hatred, white lies, stealing, sexual sins being hidden, racism, back stabbing, standing by while injustice is being done. It makes me sick to my stomach. Man was made perfect, without disease, without suffering, without saddness. But the we got a virus. The virus of SIN. It has infected every single one of us. But we have a cure. That cure is Christ Jesus. He was imune to this disease. And he injected himself with this disease hurting so that we would not have to carry it any longer. Christians need to get rid of sin in thier lives. Wipe it clean. Push it out. KILL it. I love the anlogy the Stephen Court uses. A popular analogy that started in the 50's compares sin in our lives to 2 cannaries. There's the good cannary and the bad cannary. The philosihy is we should feed the good canarry and starve the bad one. Feeding our souls, starving out sin. But Stephen brought this to light. This is not the way we should do it. We should take out the bad cannary, and snap it's neck killing it instantly. Kill the Sin. Get rid of it. GIve it no chance to come back. I'd like to take it a bit further and say feed the bad cannary to the good one to fatten it up. Let the good swallow the evil so the good can expand.
